Examples include:- Designing and implementing modern technology solutions through the Office365 suite for a range of People and Culture initiatives. By creating these, then measuring the benefits and impact they bring I'm able to lead transformational change by doing then showing. - Leading the adoption rollout of Microsoft Teams for staff across the university. The key aspect to this isn’t technology itself (it works well!), it’s more changing peoples’ habits to think about how they best communicate information. Once they’ve mastered it, productivity and engagement go through the roof!- Collaborating with teams around their pain points, time intensive processes and get them onto the right tools to make their work lives easier. The Office365 tools (Teams, PowerApps, Forms, SharePoint and Flow in particular) are fundamentally changing the way people work.- Influencing leaders on how they can transform their areas and workers to remain relevant in a landscape that is constantly changing.

The most rewarding part of this job has been playing a key role in introducing technology solutions that create great learning and teaching experiences across UNSW. I'm fortunate enough to work with world-class academics in their course design.Since undertaking this position I have designed a podcast media room and more recently a media studio which allows live streaming on multiple cameras. I came up with a number of initiatives to ensure these spaces are well used. The podcast room was utilised 70% of the time during the first semester it was available. I have also played a key role in introducing a university wide trial platform which allows for live polling, Q&A, note taking, and recording of videos during lectures / classes. The high majority of students evaluated have said they found it beneficial for their learning and would like introduced to more courses.Other initiatives I have had direct input with with is a university wide course design template, the introduction of a light-board, Moodle and Media platform enhancements, and evaluations for student feedback on course design and pilot initiatives.

I was responsible for embedding digital technology solutions to meet the wide range of learning design needs of CPIT.After starting off as a elearning advisor for three years, I moved into a role as team leader of three staff in the Learning Technologies Unit. The main highlight of the role was co-creating a learning technologies strategy with five colleagues which was implemented across the institution. Further to this I introduced a new video streaming platform (Echo360) after identifying the need to better manage the large number of videos being created across the institution. Staff embraced the use of videos, including builders who under my guidance would wear go-pros while working with equipment then later annotate over them. This gave students an opportunity to gain a strong understanding before trying equipment out themselves.This role gave me a great insight into how to roll out technology solutions and upgrades institution wide, along with how to build trusting relationships with academics so they can embrace innovation and enhance their teaching through technology. I gained good experience in leadership by having three additional staff members in my team. I introduced an ‘innovation hour’ to encourage them to come up with new ideas and improvements with what we do.

Tracking players at the request of the ITM Cup coaches and the Canterbury Rugby Union Academy Manager.

Coding and generating stats for the South Canterbury Heartland Rugby Team. Created a product to allow the coaches, management and players to view the analysis statistics and videos both over the internet and as a downloaded standalone application.Creating Individual highlight reels for players to showcase their talents to prospective clubs.

Creating websites for a wide range of clients in many different industries using CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, Flash and Photoshop. Integrate sites into a content management system that involves modifying code in ASP to provide customised websites that a client can update with ease. Training clients on how to use various products that include email clients & content management systems.Creating solutions to improve the internal processes within the company. Responsible for providing technical support to various customer problems including web and email issues. Setting up and renewing domain names on web servers, changing over hosting of sites & establishing mail boxes for clients. Managing multiple projects by prioritising tasks effectively.
