He is the proud father of two young children.In the past year alone, HMS Associates expanded its business from New York and Long Island into four outlying New York counties – Westchester, Orange, Putnam and Ulster – as well as most of New Jersey. HMS also added commercial property appraisals to its range of offerings and began publishing HMS Valuation News Report, a quarterly newsletter.Specialties: Perhaps Mr. Heskel’s most significant contribution over the past year has been the creation of the widely popular HMS Brooklyn Report. A quarterly report heavy on statistics, the Brooklyn Report analyzes residential real estate sale prices in Brooklyn neighborhood by neighborhood. Mr. Heskel’s report has become widely anticipated amid speculation over New York’s so-called real estate bubble and Brooklyn’s rise to prominence on the real estate scene.
