Ever since my first days of high school at Deerfield Academy joining the Save the Children chapter, policy has fascinated me. Joining Deerfield’s Save the Children chapter and attending the Save the Children Advocacy Summit in 2018, I was fortunate to have lobbied Congressman Jim McGovern, Senator Ed Markey’s team, and Senator Elizabeth Warren’s team to discuss The Reach Every Mother and Child Act. In college, I have engaged in activities to further this passion for politics. Previously interning in the United States Senate for Senator Ed Markey and in the United States House of Representatives for Congressman Stephen Lynch, I collaborated with fellow interns and staffers to build research memos and conduct tasks in order to create a positive environment for growth. Through both my legislative and administrative duties, I worked to supplement the office staff's work. My experiences in these offices, along with being the Vice President of Brotherhood for The George Washington University's professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, have focused my interests around the intersection of international relations and economic policy. I aspire to work in an atmosphere that proposes initiatives that juxtapose the corporate and political spheres.
