I'm the CTO and a co-founder of Anapaya Systems AG, an ETH-spinoff with the mission to develop the next-generation inter-networking architecture by combining high security (prevent prefix hijacking, provably secure protocol and implementation), high availability (network-level DDoS defense), and flexibility (path control and multipath, SD-WAN) all in one network architecture, SCION. The SCION secure Internet architecture developed at ETH Zurich is a next-generation disruptive network technology that provides state-of-the-art secure interdomain routing, QoS, DDoS defense, secure PKI, and an unprecedented level of availability.I received a Master of Science from ETH Zurich (Specialization Track: Information Security) in 2014.During my studies I co-founded my own company (Mobile Development Hitz & Partner) with focus on developing solutions for mobile platforms (Android/iOS) as well as consulting companies that wanted to create their own mobile solutions. I also did an internship at Google London and Google Poland where I worked in the YouTube Mobile and Google Compute engine teams.I enjoy finding new and practical solutions for unsolved problems while putting much emphasis on the engineering aspect of research, rather than just theoretical foundations.
