I have experience developing data processing algorithms and writing efficient code to solve complex mathematical problems. Recently I’ve worked on projects that involve array manipulation, statistical analysis, optimization, data smoothing and utilization of GPUs for massively parallel computing on large datasets. I’ve taken these projects from concept to completion, designing stable software with full input checks, error handling and unit test suites.Most of my work has been with a small team of scientists at UAH and JPL, where I’ve helped develop image simulation and processing algorithms from the ground up for NASA’s Roman Space Telescope Coronagraph Instrument. I code in Python, and I’m comfortable using GitHub’s workflow for version control and issue tracking.
