I co-developed and launched Under Armour’s first commercial wearable technology, the Armour39 Heart Rate Performance System, consisting of a heart rate strap, watch, and iOS app. We were able to navigate a crowded patent landscape to introduce differentiation in the stale heart rate strap market.

As a ground floor member of Under Armour’s Innovation team, and reporting to UA's co-founder, I held an integral role in the development of the team’s operating model, and helped build the group from 4 members in Baltimore to 120+ worldwide. I functioned as a product ceo, and with a digital focus, led our company into the wearable tech era through the development of a performance biometric shirt, which was debuted on national TV with the NFL Combine.

Created jobs in disadvantaged area of Managua, Nicaragua, to help eliminate human trafficking. Secured sustainable source of fabric and used sewing equipment, and hired local manager experienced in cut/sew operations, to build profitable garment shop staffed exclusively by at-risk women.
