Oshi Health is revolutionizing the way people receive care for gastroenterology (GI) and digestive health conditions. We diagnose and treat a range of GI conditions with a highly convenient, accessible, personalized and value-based virtual care delivery model.

Established in 2014, the Task Force is a multistakeholder consortium that supports accelerating the pace of transforming the delivery system into one that better pays for value. Representing a diverse set of organizations from various segments of the industry – including providers, payers, purchasers, and patient advocacy organizations – we share a common commitment to transform our respective businesses and clinical models to deliver a health system that achieves equitable outcomes through high-quality, affordable person-centered care. We strive to provide a critical mass of policy, operational, and technical support that, when combined with the work being done by CMS and other public and private stakeholders, can increase the momentum of delivery system transformation.

The V1C Coalition by DiMe (formerly called IMPACT) is the industry group advocating for policy and reimbursement needed by to support the evolution of healthcare delivery toward virtual-first approaches. Oshi Health is a Founding Member along with other virtual-first care delivery companies, payers, patient advocates, investors, legal experts and other stakeholders.

Every year I greatly enjoy returning to Penn & Wharton to judge the Healthcare track of the Penn Wharton Startup Challenge in which students from across the University's many programs enter startup business plans and compete to win seed capital and interest/attention from investors.

Worked to develop & incubate several startup companies and advised several others in the clinical trial, digital health, food as medicine and healthcare services sectors.

Chief Operating Officer of Fit4D (now Cecelia Health), whose mission is to improve the lives of people with diabetes and other chronic conditions. The company helps payers and pharma companies improve medication adherence and quality measure performance in people living with diabetes via a telehealth approach using Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs).

Led operations, implementation, hiring and finance for the Healthcare Solutions (Tea Leaves Health) business at Everyday Health, including SaaS technology and data-driven marketing platforms and digital consumer and physician engagement solutions. We helped health systems and hospitals to develop and execute their growth strategies by analyzing their markets, acquiring and engaging consumers/patients via data-driven marketing and managing relationships with referring physicians.

Led the acquisitions of data-driven marketing platforms for pharma (DoctorDirectory, Nov 2014), health systems (Tea Leaves Health, Aug 2015) and rare disease marketing (Cambridge BioMarketing, March 2015).

Created new product strategy to serve healthcare payors and provider organizations (health systems, hospitals, ACOs). Developed landscape map of over 250 digital health companies in target sectors and completed detailed reviews and diligence on over 30 high priority potential partnership and acquisition candidates. This work led to the formation of the new Healthcare Solutions business unit.

The HIMSS Electronic Health Record (EHR) Association is the trade association of Electronic Health Record (EHR) companies, addressing national efforts to create interoperable EHRs in hospital and ambulatory care settings. The Executive Committee establishes the guiding principles of the EHR Association and develops and implements strategic plans.

Advised healthcare companies on mergers & acquisitions as well as equity (IPO, follow-on, venture capital) and debt financing. Client companies and deals spanned healthcare sub-sectors, including: - Healthcare IT (provider, payer and life sciences) - Revenue cycle management - Group purchasing organizations (GPOs) / Supply Chain Management - Pharmaceutical Outsourcing (CROs, CMOs) - Specialty Pharma & Biotech - Medical Devices
