Preparation of the CNTP was one of the defining tool for the future integrated development of Afghanistan. The program was initiated by the Ministry of Urban Development and Land and approved by the leadership of the country. CNTSP aimed to align the planning process across sectors followed by the alignment of development activities. KRIHS was the technical consultant to the MUDL to undertake the process of preparation of the CNTP. My role as coordinator include: 1. Coordination across all governmental agencies. 2. Coordinate Capacity Building 3. Data collection

UDSP aimed to offer the necessary support to the Ministry of Urban Development and Land and urban sector as a whole. The project focused on supporting MUDL and other urban institutions in disciplines of Urban Information, Urban Institution, Urban Integration and Urban Investment. My role as Project director started from project conceptualizing, project structuring, project inception, project implementation and project closing. UDSP has been successfully completed achieving its goals, objectives and delivered all its due deliverables.More specifically, I was engaged working with numerous international consultants and consultancies as key counterpart from the World Bank and MUDL implementing the assignments and deliverables with due consideration of social and environmental safeguards. The deliverables includes the following: 1. Urban Management Information System (Designed and Developed)2. Urban Policies prepared (Urban Policy, Affordable Housing Policy, Urban Regeneration Policy, Review of Mortgage Law, Municipal Finance Policy, Municipal Incentive Fund Policy 3. Housing Standards for Afghanistan is prepared. 4. Urban Plans "Strategic Development Framework for five cities" were prepared. 5. Urban Planning Curriculum and National Urban Planning Framework were prepared. 6. Feasibility and Design Study of the priority projects prepared.

In this role, I helped Ministry of Urban Development and Housing's policy and planning units in preparation of: - Urban National Priority Programs (U-NPP)- Planning and policy making - Socio-economic analysis -

The department, I was working for had the following key responsibilities: 1. National Planning - Manage Government Strategic Planning; - Facilitate planning tools for performance management including performance matrices (Balance Score Card), 100 days planning and development projects planning. 2. Policy Formulation and Analysis - Analyze policies, plans and laws pertaining to economic and social sectors. - Cooperate in policy formulation with sectorial ministries and independent organizations. 3. Economic Zones Management - Develop coordination mechanism between sectorial government entities.

Capacity Building for Results (CBR) was a World Bank funded initiative implemented by the Ministry of Finance in other sectoral institutions of the Government. As CBR Project Implementation and Coordination Consultant my role was to: - Oversee ongoing reform targets at the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) set by the World Bank and other donor agencies.- Pioneer Structural reform in line with MAIL strategic objectives. - Co-worked on a strategic guidance for talent management called Professional Cadre. - Interview and data collection on weekly basis to assess and track reform efforts.
