ForenPsych is a private practice specializing in forensic psychological evaluations for both criminal and civil cases.

I conduct forensic evaluations both on a contractual and private basis. I do court ordered evaluations on criminal defendants referred for fitness to proceed and criminal responsibility. I also conduct violence risk assessments, opinions on fitness restorability, and culpable mental state. I also conduct evaluations for Social Security to aid in determining eligibility in mental disability cases.

Three rotations throughout the year include: 1. Adult SMI Rotation 2. Forensic Rotation 3. Adolescent Rotation Complete court-ordered forensic evaluations on criminal defendants (e.g. fitness to proceed/competency to stand trial and criminal responsibility).Complete psychological assessments on forensic patients court-ordered for competency restoration or commitment and treatment for defendants adjudicated by reason of insanity. Run psychotherapy groups for committed patients.

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to aid in disposition of juveniles in the court system (treatment recommendations, probation recommendations, etc.) • Provide individual therapy services for juveniles requiring treatment services • Conduct and present clinical and academic research - Research: The relationship between an increase in trauma and the severity of juvenile offenses, a longitudinal study- Presentations: Categorical versus dimensional approaches of diagnoses, and Similarities between autism spectrum disorders and prodromal psychosis.

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments on patients adjudicated Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) or found Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST)- Assessment referrals included: Treatment planning, feigning of symptoms, remission of psychotic and/or manic symptoms, and level of insight into the relationship between their mental illness and their criminal offense.• Co-facilitate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills groups (2 cycles) and DBT Diary Card group (2 cycles)• Co-facilitate psychotherapy groups for patients focusing on building insight into their mental illness (Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) group, Group Psychotherapy)• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, focusing on current treatment progress, assessment referrals, admissions/discharge, and need for continuing treatment

• Complete intake evaluations (clinical interview and psychodiagnostic inventories) to formulate diagnostic impressions and generate comprehensive treatment plans• Provide long-term, weekly psychotherapy for patients with various mental health concerns (depression, anxiety, personality disorders)• Conducted comprehensive psychological assessments. Referrals included learning disabilities, ADHD, intellectual disability, severe mental illness, social security disability, and probation/need for treatment.
