My name is Sami Lovett. I am the Designer Maker at the heart of Just Lovett Design Ltd. I provide a Bespoke Design & Make Service.I work with my clients on a personal basis to create bespoke products for their individual needs. I am passionate about designing and making bespoke products. I use my graphic design skills, hand crafted manufacture knowledge, and laser cutting know how to create all of my products. My portfolio so far consists of awards, luxury corporate gift-ware, branded products for hospitality businesses, wedding and event stationery / decor, and products for the home. My client base is quite varied, however the way that I work with all of my clients is the same. I love getting to know all of my clients, which enables me to create products that are truly suited to them and their specific briefs. The range of products that can be created using different materials, manufacturing processes and styles is unbelievable! I really love what I do and love working with new clients to create new products!

I help students extend and explore their creative 3D practice.I teach groups of students handcrafted manufacturing techniques such as; welding, plastic forming, metal craft and woodwork. I work with a range of materials including; wood, metal and plastics.

My key roles were to support the teaching of various practical Art & Design classes and to prepare resources.

I worked in the Fab Lab department designing and making marketing products for Leeds City College. I also ran tutorials for groups students based on CNC machinery such as 3D Printers and Scanners, CNC Routers, Laser Cutters and CNC embroidery machines.

I worked in the Joinery Department as a wood machinist to assist tutors and students with their projects.

o Maintaining workshops, machinery and equipment, ensuring that they are in workingorder and in line with HSE safety regulations.o Setting up lessons under the umbrella of Design Technology: Textiles, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Systems & Control, and Graphics.o Setting up workshops, machinery and equipment for practical lessons.o Using wood working machines to produce wooden learning materials forstudents.o Demonstrating practical skills using different techniques and equipment.
