About Sami Richards
I consider the user experience at the core of everything I do, whether that’s developing around user stories as a Programmer, identifying issues in QA, engaging with feedback in Customer Support, or making sure developers make games that are not just great but both accessible and respectful to their players as a Producer. As a User Researcher, I employ this experience to produce heuristic walkthrough evaluations and conduct moderated user tests to guide UX design and while collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data through surveys to define users and improve their journeys. Through UX research, design and accessibility advocacy, I have helped several projects, either new to market or in live service development, to reach their usability potential, always with a focus on the practicalities of development and risk reduction.
