01/2015– 12/2015Design and implement system testing and continuous integration environments for High Accuracy Indoor Positioning system for enabling automated unit and system testing.Competence: Continuous Integration (GIT, Gerrit, Jenkins), C++, GTEST (Google Test framework), Scrum.01/2007 – 12/2014Target in the project was to define, implement and productized a concept which is a power-efficient, always-on and automatic, and fully distributed messaging system which scales to mass events and works in dynamic environments (e.g. shopping malls) and uses ad-hoc radio mesh (Wi-Fi Aware™) directly between devices, in connectionless fashion, to carry awareness information.My role in the project was to work as project manager including also concepting, designing and SW implementation works and managing co-operation with subcontractors and Nokia Business Units. In technical area role was to participate for defining WLAN chipset based power save functionality for the concept, being technical expert when co-operating with WLAN chipset vendors, defining SW architecture for the platform implementations of the concept for Nokia and Android devices and participating to the SW implementation works by concentrating especially to the lower layers of the system and WLAN chipset based power save related activities.Competence: Protocol software engineering: CVOPS, C / C++, SVN, Git, Gerrit, Protocol SW development for Linux, Symbian, S40, Maemo, Windows Phone, Android devices, WLAN Adhoc, Wi-Fi Aware™ , mesh networks and protocol knowledge, project management.

2006 - 2008Participation to the project as a project manager where target was to develop Linux based tester for 3.9G/LTE terminal product and to develop 3.9G/LTE demo system with real 3.9G/LTE terminal and eNB (BTS) products and 3.9G/LTE network emulators. 2002 - 2007Participation to the set of projects as project manager including also implementation responsibilities, where targets were to implement protocol and performance testers for testing new 2G – 3.5G features of Nokia device products (e.g. HSPA, MBSM, UMA, GPRS DTM, ISHO features) and improving performance of 2G – 3.5G protocol stacks of Nokia device.2003Participation to the project where target was to define architecture for GERAN Iu mode of the Nokia Dual Mode Mobile Station product and to verify SW architecture by implementing a subset of the features to Nokia GSM/3G phone and test it in the workstation environment. Implementation of the tester was also part of the project. My role was first to participate for designing SW architecture and in the implementation phase to work as project manager including design and implementation works.08/2001 - 2002Participation to the project where target was to implement IP-BTS/RAN pilot system. I worked as technical expert / project manager for Nokia Research Center team under IP-RAN program.

1999 - 2001Participation to the project where target was to develop 3GPP Rel99 compliant trial system consisting of mobile stations, base stations and network controller. Project managed to implement 3GPP compatible WCDMA Trial system 1st in the world. Nokia made press release about this achievement. My role was to work as sub project manager and later project manager responsible from protocol SW development of the trial system. Also implementation responsibilities were included to my role. System was demonstrated e.g. in 3GSM conference at Barcelona, October 2000.1999Participation to the project where target was to design layer 3 protocol SW of Nokia 3G RNC product and specify interface between RNC and nodeB products.1997 - 1999Participation to the WCDMA trial project where target was to develop early version of WCDMA mobile station and base station and network controller. System was demonstrated at Telecom 99 conference at Geneva, Switzerland. My role was to work as chief engineer responsible of network controller part of the system.

03/1996 – 04/2997Participation to the project where target was to define Nokia’s proposal for High Speed Data for IS-95 standardization.1994 – 1996Participation to the projects where target was to develop and maintain protocol SW testers for Nokia Devices and GSM network elements (BTS, BSC and MSC).
