Roles / responsibilities• Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as release procedures, dependencies, and ticket lists.• Ensure that projects‘ entry points criteria are met to integrate the release• Maintain the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across business and IT.• Communicate release details, schedules, commitments, and changes including schedule and scope changes to all stakeholders.• Plan and manage all release activities.• Produce a weekly Release reporting.• Conduct Release Status reviews (during PMT) and Business Go/No-Go reviews.• Produce Deployment (GO live) Plan.• Coordinate release content and effort based on the ticket and remaining test cases backlog.• Understand the testing landscape to orchestrate the synchronisation of the datasets needed for testing across applications• Manage relationships and coordinate work between different IT teams.• Pay attention to pre and post release impacts like releases of other applications in the landscape• Be hands-on when necessary to accelerate the testing process and/or the defect resolution process• Stay informed and understand impacts of parallel code branches and code merges.• Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.• Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plan and business checklists.• Propose improvements regarding the release process.
