As a person who is rational, determined and stubborn but also open to new ideas and information at the same time, I stick to my goals unless someone can convince me otherwise with newer information and perspectives.As I grew up, I became increasingly interested in the fields of social science because human interactions are something so mundane and essential, and at the same time they often conceal the secrets to greatness. How can we make the world a better place? This simple yet one of the most significant questions is probably best answered with development goals, something that is so closely tied with Economics. This curiosity, coupled with my natural aptitude and love for Mathematics, made me passionate enough to go out of my way and actively choose Economics as my academic discipline.At present, my vision shows me making a career in the field of Macroeconomics and Development Economics, coupled with the in-depth study of the Bangladesh Economy, where I juxtapose the developed and the developing world to analyze the policies that were and should have been undertaken considering their unique idiosyncrasies. In the short run, however, I aim to be more certain and precise about my study interests as I continue my erudition.Apart from my academics, I try to debate, sing and dance. And being the Jack of all trades but Master of none, I succeed with mediocrity. However, my reading, writing and critical reasoning abilities attempt to compensate the incompetence.
