Samia Ahmad leads marketing at DIFC Innovation Hub, the largest financial technology hub in the MENA region. She manages the marketing efforts around the hub’s accelerator programmes, consulting engagements, community building activities and commercial events. Prior to joining DIFC Innovation Hub, Samia was the Marketing Manager at an upcoming PropTech start-up Stella Stays where she set up the marketing department and established company’s brand identity. Before this, Samia worked as a senior marketing specialist at Bain & Company Middle East where she overlooked public relations, account based marketing and brand consistency across all offices in MENA. In her free time, Samia enjoys helping start-up founders fine tune their pitch decks and create impactful brand communication. She is passionate about supporting female professionals and entrepreneurs and works tirelessly to create opportunities which allows women to network and move ahead in their careers. In 2022, she lead the hub’s AccelerateHER programme designed to help female professionals accelerate their career growth. Samia graduated at the top of her class from Unison World School India. After which she went on to receive her Bachelors in Computer Science (with Distinction) from University of Wollongong in Dubai.
