Profile bio

About Sami Dimauro

I recently graduated from the Mechanical Engineering and Society Program at McMaster University, and am so grateful for the time I spent in Mac Eng. Pursuing engineering gives me the opportunity to create, inspire, and problem solve, while the Society program also provided me with a space to discuss sustainability and develop a wider breadth of knowledge in subjects that are engineering adjacent. I hope that as a woman in Engineering I can inspire other women and young girls to pursue their dreams in STEM.I'm thrilled to have entered the workforce in a field I can believe in: renewable energy. Using my knowledge of sustainability and mechanical design, I hope to contribute to the geotechnology world by promoting alternative energies both in the industry and in everyday life!
