My role is to recruit and screen patients for clinical studies, increasing the digital presence of the company by developing a website and marketing strategy, as well as assist the director in documentation of patients participating in our clinical trials.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Amidst my tasks, my primary concern was maintaining a positive environment in the reception area for anxious families waiting for updates on their loved ones. I took on the role of a "transmitter" between the surgeons and the patients' families, providing regular patient updates and various non-medical support. Watching the surgeons care for the patient and their families motivated me to perform my duties to the best of my ability.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

My role was to assist providers in documenting patient's medical information at the ER departments of Children's Medical Center Dallas and Plano. From simple colds to kids coming in with hypoxemia, as an Pediatric ER scribe I learned about vast array of medical conditions and the various roles within a hospital, increasing my appreciation for the healthcare industry.

I taught kids of all ages how to read the Arabic language and conducted Arabic reading workshops for teachers to communicate certain subjects to their students. During my time there, I became a manager of the program, training incoming teachers and ensuring the program's quality.
