"Take care of your people and your people will take care of your customers and your business." - that sums up my experiences quite nicely. I have worked in software and hardware development related roles for 20 years. I have worked in traditional waterfall projects and recently in agile projects/trains. I have worked in telecom equipment vendor and telecom operator projects and projects creating marketplaces/websites/mobile apps for different customers. I have worked with colleagues and teams from different continents and with different cultural backgrounds and it has broaden my views on how to work with people and how to get the results that are required. I am currently working in developing insurance applications and services for a large Finnish insurance company. I believe that when the vision where we want to go is clear, and the discussion/co-operation is continuous between business and development teams, the added value/results will come. I believe that when you have people's interests and needs in mind and you find solutions that fulfill those, you will have a possibility for successful, committed, self-driven team of individuals.I am inspired by Agile/Lean/DevOps way of working. Continuous Improvement, Continuous Integration and Deployment, Automation of testing/deployments/environment maintenance have produced good results in my current work and it has been a great personal learning experience.I am driven to keep finding ways to continuously improve the way I work, the way people in my team work and the way people in surrounding teams work.
