ILMIHA is a deliberate attempt to do social development work differently. It results from collective experiences gained through years of engagement in various capacities by diverse actors who have been positioned as change-makers. However, several systemic challenges have hindered their efforts to bring about meaningful change, including data gaps, business-as-usual approaches, funding limitations, and the age-old bureaucratic red tape.

Orange Support Centre (OSC) Representative.The OSC is the UNFPA Ghana's innovative programme to provide an integrated support system for victims and survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) through a toll-free call centre, 0800 111 222.My responsibilities at the OSC include;- Facilitate community sensitization and education on sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and the role of the Orange Support Centre - Monitor and respond to inbound calls from local communities on issues concerning SGBV as well as provide information- Liaison with psychologists and counsellors to assist identified victims and survivors of SGBV- Coordinate with external agencies such as Emergency Shelters, Police Service, Legal Teams

- Effectively convey the UNHCR’s mission, vision, programs, and work in Ghana to potential donors- Research individuals, corporations, and foundations that may be interested in the work of UNHCR- Cultivate a network of dedicated donors and volunteers- Plan and execute fundraising initiatives to meet financial goals- Spot new fundraising opportunities- Form strong relationships with external stakeholders- Coordinate with major donors, provide feedback and ensure alignment with UNHCR initiatives
