More specifically, I worked mainly in Excel to gather and process raw data ready for transfer; around 15,000 inputs of customer data in total. This data needed to be both up-to-date and had to match that already held on the companies' Sage 200 database, to ensure there are no problems during transferal. As well as this, I was instructed to make vital updates to the pre-established Sage 200 database, editing both customer and product information to ensure accuracy. I made numerous changes to part codes for sell-able products, updated general information and attached documents to customer files to make them easy to find. My technological proficiency meant I took to each task allocated well, learning quickly how the system worked. My final task was to aid in the troubleshooting of the completed CRM database, learning how the processes worked before allocating written tasks to my colleagues so they could practise putting on quotes, creating leads, adding companies and people and using the calendar functions.
