Single point of contact for systems development and interdisciplinary interfaces with respect to Project Controls Systems. Provides support for tools, systems, and work processes necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control, trend, and report on cost and schedule for EPC projects throughout the organization.• Increased Project Controls Project staff productivity substantially by instituting common processes work instructions to the newly deployed Cost System.• Engaged Jacobs Project Controls department with the Local AACEI Chapter and increased membership and participation. That resulted in increased Jacobs market resource penetration for hiring talented individuals with Cost Engineering certification credentials.• Developed Project Controls systems process maps for the integration of current tools which in turn streamlined work processes and increased efficiency and identified bottlenecks.• Developed redundancy plans, failover, and back up processes to key Project Control Systems and Tools. • Implemented an Earned Value Management System to track performance, productivity and progress on all brownfield projects. Instituted Project on a Page with flight gages and quick visuals for senior management review. Resulted in more efficient meetings and project reviews in addition to transparent project KPI’s visibility.• Established a Project War Room where all key aspects of a Project are listed on the wall. From key milestones to monthly progress and risk register. The latter resulted in an immediate communication transparency, less emails, and coherence among the project team. • Developed flexible project schedules that integrated with the cost system and accounted for risk and opportunities. Developed an internal risk modeling process for project schedules and linked the risk register to both cost and schedule.
