Curious to learn more about the world of sales and retail, I took a chance on a retail position in the Mall of America. While most of my time is spent processing incoming products in the back storage area, I do occasionally spend time on the floor, getting glimpses of the corporate sales strategy and what parts of that strategy do and do not work with living, breathing customers.

Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL): Playbooks with a Purpose Leveraged journey mapping and competitive analysis to ideate features for a “playbooks” platform for DlAL, a subset of the UN Foundation dedicated to supplying digital tools to developing countries. Using Kano analysis, I determined desirable features and developed them into high-fidelity annotated wireframes.Accurants: Problem-Solving the Product Tour Using feedback from contextual inquiry interviews with small business owners, I created a more streamlined interface for Accurants, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool with a goal of onboarding new small business owners in 30 minutes or less. Helping Pretsl Serve Pretsl is a Saint Paul, Minnesota-based startup seeking to provide small grocers with tools to be competitive in the online marketplace. I interviewed online grocery consumers during their interactions with a Pretsl prototype to generate ideas and produce annotated wireframes of potential solutions to move the platform forward.
