I have practiced tax for ten years and focus my practice on civil and criminal tax litigation representing clients in tax audits, appeals and collection matters before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), California Franchise Tax Board (FTB), California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) and the Employment Development Department (EDD). I have been featured on Fox Business, Bloomberg.com, ESPN Radio, KOGO Radio, Bankrate.com, Bankinfosecurity.com, the Portland Press Herald, and the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association.I am community-minded, being awarded the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services for assisting financially distressed families with burdensome tax liabilities and I teach graduate level tax and business law courses as an adjunct professor helping design courses for one of the largest veteran-founded, non-profit universities, National University.I earned my Doctor of Jurisprudence from California Western School of Law focusing on business and tax law, after completing my undergraduate studies at University of California at San Diego. I also obtained my Master of Laws in Taxation from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.When I am not assisting clients I enjoy spending time at home with my wife and our toddler daughter and baby son.
