I have worked in publishing, editing and journalism at Oxford University Press, Khaleej Times Dubai and The Nation, Nairobi, Kenya.I have also worked as an Information and Library Manager at the British Council for nearly during 1996-98.My experience in management and administration is my strength which has been evolved through practical experience in leadership positions in arts, education, governance, education and project management.I have also worked as Equal Opportunity and Diversity Manager in the Central and South Asia Region of the British Council. During this role considerable attention was given to the area of Disability and Corporate Social Responsibility.I have reasonable experience in educational research and analysis. I was also a member of the Boards of Governors of Centre for International Private Enterprise (CIPE: 2008-2015) and Secretary to BOG of Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (2007-2020). I have worked on the Executive Committee of COMMECS Institute of Business Education.I am still growing in education through my Doctorate in Education. at the Glasgow University which has been an unachieved ambition in life. My Doctorate in Education, currently post-viva dissertation is on hold, for rewriting and onward submission to the School of Social Sciences, Department of Education, University of Glasgow, UK. Dissertation theme is ‘inclusion’ – 2012 to date, it is still a work in progress.I have travelled extensively in the UK, UAE, Pakistan, and Eastern Africa. Besides, have been to Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Bangladesh, Srilanka and, Nepal.
