Transit Labs is a cutting-edge technology start-up whose primary focus is improving data collection, analysis, and modeling for the public transit industry. We have designed, built, and tested robust and highly innovative web and mobile software platforms that provides a one-stop solution for transit data management.With that being said, as a bootstrapped startup, my role expands across multiple different technical, managerial, and executive facets. Responsibilities range from being involved in the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), building fast, secure, and reliable web and mobile applications, to building an orchestra of distributed Linux & Windows systems architectures to support the entire ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) life cycle of big data warehousing and business intelligence, to building an API (Application Protocol Interface) to streamline a centralized data source for all web, mobile, and IoT (Internet of Things), as well as fostering partnerships with tech giants such as Amazon, Microsoft, ESRI, and Google while at Transit Labs.

- Develop and implement information security standards, policies and procedures outlining methods for protecting information assets and reducing risk. Monitor compliance with policies.- Implement and oversee SpexHost's cyber security program / framework in accordance with regulatory/compliance requirements.- Analyze business needs and establish priorities for the protection of critical systems and operational policies.- Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, new information security technologies and counter measures against threats to provide the appropriate level of protection for data, software and hardware.- Oversee annual penetration testing and bi-annual vulnerability assessments.
