I'm from the Austin Texas area, and I am a computer science graduate from the University of Texas at the Permian Basin. Additionally, I graduated from University of Texas at Austin in the Cybersecurity Bootcamp Professional Certificate Program as of December 2023. I graduated in May of 2023 and am currently seeking any entry-level position in the IT and/or cybersecurity field.After graduating from UT Austin's bootcamp program, I obtained both the CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ certifications to solidify my beginner cybersecurity knowledge.In terms of relative work experience, I have nearly a year of experience as an IT Phone Agent for UTPB's Information Technology Services department. This role allowed me to develop my leadership and communication skills when assisting students and professors over the phone and in person when it came to a plethora of technical support issues. I made numerous connections in my department allowing me to gain more insight as to how critical the ITS department at my, let alone any university, is essential to contributing to the well-being and success of students and faculty alike.In my free time, my primary avenues of enjoyment are primarily exercise-based ranging from calisthenics, powerlifting, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!
