DEVELOPMENT AND UPGRADING OF THE PROPOSED PAN BORNEO HIGHWAYIN THE STATE OF SARAWAK (PHASE 1)The scope of works in this contract includes the construction, testing, commissioning and maintenance thereafter for twenty-four (24) months as detailed below: -(1) Widening of the existing 2 lanes, single carriageway road (from Sg Tangap to Pujut Link Road) to a 4-lanes dual carriageway complying to R5 standards in compliance with Schedule B (Design Brief) of the PDP Agreement. (2) 4 nos interchanges, 8 nos bridges and 73 nos box culverts and 235 nos pipe culverts.(3) Relocation of services and utilities such as water supply, electricity supply, telecommunications, gas pipelines etc.(4) Traffic management design & implementation.(5) All necessary temporary works and including its design.(6) Environmental Management and Erosion and Sediment Control Plans to comply with the approval conditions of the EIA Report.(7) Any other ancillary works such as site survey (including utility mapping), soil investigation, soil improvement and slope protection works, earth retaining structures (where required), environmental protection and monitoring measures such as silt traps, temporary sediment basins, gravel outlet structures, etc., landscaping, junction improvements, and any other incidental works deemed necessary for the proper completion of the Works.Contract Sum : RM 1,825,250,000.00 (AUD 580 mill)
