Life Without Barriers is an organisation that provides care and support to those in need via several sectors such as Aged Care Services, Homelessness Services, Mental Health Program, and Disability Services. As a Cultural Support Worker, I work in the SRAS program (Support to Refugees and Asylum Seekers). As a Youth Worker at Baptist Care (SA) Inc, I conducted meetings to gather up team members from other community detention houses. My Key Worker Responsibility role was OH&S and Medication. Action: I took minutes during the meetings. I created a template for the minutes, and I reported the suggested solutions and improvements back to Case Workers and Team Leaders at my workplace/community detention house. The results from the meetings were followed up to continue the progress of better OH&S forms for staff members to comprehend the requirements of policies, and better Medication logs for clients.
