Samir Kumar is an IT industry visionary and business entrepreneur with more than a quarter century of experience. Prior to joining AiRo, Samir was cofounder and president of Cloudaction, an IT consulting services firm specializing in ITSM, digital experience, and cloud optimization. In that role, he worked tirelessly to elevate his company—which was acquired by AiRo in 2024—as a leader in IT consulting services by building its global profitability and gaining the trust and respect of its many clients. Samir has devoted his entire academic and professional career to honing his expertise in outcome- driven IT. He attended the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology/Roorkee, graduating in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Samir then joined Tata Consultancy Services as an associate consultant and was quickly promoted to project lead. His upward career trajectory continued upon joining IBM, where he served as IT applications development manager from 2002 to 2009, winning an IBM Bravo Award in the process. Subsequently Samir moved to boutique IT consulting firm Stonebridge, where he built a highly successful ITSM business unit from the ground up, serving as director from 2009 to 2012 and vice president from 2013 to 2014. A credentialed leader in his field, he holds PMP and ITIL® certifications. Samir resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering on garden projects in his neighborhood, doing creative woodworking projects, practicing yoga, and playing golf. He serves as charity program director for the Center for Civil Initiatives and is a passionate member of Tulsa’s animal rescue community.
