Overall responsibility for Imports - Handling Import shipments- Ensure the Shipments are tracked and delivered on time- Coordinate with the Custom Broker, Forwarder and Shipping Line - Coordination with the International Suppliers for Shipments Pick up- Coordination with internal Team and updating them- Planning & Prioritizing Import Shipments- Handling Advance License - Ensuring all import benefits are claimed- Ensuring Trade Compliance Rules are followed- Freight Management- Control Demurrage and detentions Core competencies, knowledge and experience:- Good knowledge and understanding of imports- Good Communication Skill- Should have handled Custom Broker- Experience of handling Forwarders and Shipping Lines- Knowledge of Advance License and duty benefits- Worked with manufacturing industry- Relationship Building Skills- Analytical Skill and Proficiency in Computers

Accountability included:• Oversee day to day operations of the factory consisting SPMs, Assembling and Molding machines, 50 employees and over a 1000 workers.• Handled Cello’s entire metal pen project and mechanical pencil pilot project for Paper mate (Sanford), U.S.A.• Stock of Plastics powder, Plastics molded parts, packing mtrl and Production Management of Moldings, Assembly and Packing.• Smooth and successful development and implementation of Store, Production and Quality management systems.• Production planning included key areas such as moldings, materials, production, assembly and quality management.• Involved in new product development activities for all semi metal and semi plastics pens.• Purchase and inventory management. Liaison with suppliers for smooth delivery of raw material and packing material.
