- Manage maintenance personnel for the line maintenance operations and works to be carried on the fleet.- Supervise and assurance that the maintenance activities are accomplished with the maximum quality level, in accordance with manufacturer instructions, aviation regulations and airlines best standard practices.- Organize the logistics necessary to comply with all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance activities on the fleet.- Analyze and request minimums requirements for tooling, equipment, spare parts, and consumable materials to assure efficient line maintenance operations.- Actively work in plans to assure the availability of spare parts required to correct discrepancies on the aircrafts of the fleet.- Prepare the schedules for personnel training, as well as participate with Quality Assurance department in the definition of the training requirements of the personnel.- Follow up to ensure that personnel under the charge remain valid licenses and certifications to comply with the work under their responsibility.- Administrate in a rational way all resources along the maintenance activities, including but not limited to personnel, tooling, materials and equipment.- Ensure that all maintenance works carried out on the aircrafts are well documented and certified, as well as doing a correct use of the tooling and equipment.- Comply with all safety related policies, supervise and ensure that all the personnel on maintenance activities complies the safety policies and uses all the required safety protection equipment properly, without fail and no deviations.- Analyze maintenance related delays in order to discuss and provide new proposals for preventive and predictive actions to have improvements in the maintenance and dispatch reliability.

- Evaluation of maintenance related issues in the preparation of main leasing agreements for aircraft being incorporated to the fleet- Paperwork and record evaluation, preparation of work scopes for aircrafts being inducted to heavy maintenance previous to the incorporation to the fleet, including but not limited to airworthiness directives, service bulletins analysis, Maintenance Programs compliance and bridging, modifications, maintenance requirements, customer changes and fleet standardization.- Aircrafts inspections.- Structural repair and dent mapping evaluation.- Aircraft service representative at major checks in external MRO’s.- Active participation in aircraft redelivery processes.

- Distribute effectively the available manpower and other resources in order to accomplish the maintenance tasks scheduled in the gantt of each maintenance project in an efficiently manner.- Evaluate and follow up the supervisor personnel as well as all the technicians of each team in the performance of the assigned activities.- Inform about training requirements to the training center.- Procurement of spare parts, tooling and equipment required to accomplish the tasks scheduled for the fleet during hangar maintenance checks- Manage the schedule of maintenance activities, prepare the time tables for personnel and follow up all the production time including any overtime. - Verify, supervise and ensure that all the personnel on maintenance activities complies the safety policies and uses all the required safety protection equipment properly, without fail and no deviations.
