Leader in effort to develop a nationwide network of Innovation Complexes for India's youth to incubate, network and develop new ideas for new inclusive growth products.

Netspeed Systems is a premier startup developing Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions for system on chip (SoC) silicon to power next generation applications like VR/AR, autonomous vehicles, hyperscale computing, real-time security analysis etc.

As part of the Office of Advisor to Prime Minister and India's National Innovation Council leading the efforts on several breakthrough initiatives : - Initiated the Innovation cluster initiative in India. Where innovation applied locally at India's 6000+ industry clusters to develop new products/services to increase income, productivity and efficiencies to enable India's SMEs to compete globally. Unique collaborative model demonstrated successfully at 7 industry clusters (total of 1M workers; 85,000 SME companies with over $4B revenue) that in certain cases doubled worker income, created entirely new products etc in less than 9 months. In planning stages for national rollout to target 1000 innovation clusters within 5 yrs.- Assisting the creation of $1 billion Inclusive Innovation Fund that is a public-private venture fund to enable creation of inclusive growth focussed new ventures to develop technologies, services and products by the youth of India for the youth of India. Launch expected mid 2013.- Co-created the Open Government Platform (OGPL), an open source open government software platform, to enable greater citizen participation and engagement with Govts, States, cities. Management of cross-border development efforts between India and USA govt software engineering teams to ship product within 9 months. Over 30 countries are planning to use OGPL this year.- Create Tod Fod Jod centers in schools and colleges to ignite youth innovation. Developed an Indian-centric model to enable youth to develop an innovation and creation mindset early.- Part of team that is developing the architecture and projects to develop India's Public Information Infrastructure ($20 Billion program), which will drive the new digital services, applications and data-centres across the entire country onto the Bharat broadband network (which is an national optical fibre network that connects the entire country - all cities, towns and 600+ panchayats).

Claritics was sold in Nov 2013 to Systems In Motion. Claritics provides a user analytics technology platform that ties seamlessly mobile and social network users information into single view & actions that enables companies to quickly create new analytics applications & customizations (in less than 1 day in certain cases) to improve customer engagement, retention and revenue opportunities.

As part of the Prism Circuits acquisition, became VP of Corporate Development at Mosys Inc, a public semiconductor company listed on Nasdaq. Ran all Corporate Development activities for company. Working on several strategic programs related to the flagship Bandwidth Engine product line.Successfully completed acquisition of MagnaLynx Inc - a provider of low power high speed SerDes products.

Bootstrapped Prism Circuits (without venture funding) and company was sold to Nasdaq listed public company - Mosys Inc MOSY, providing 45x return to Prism angel investors in 3 years.Prism Circuits at the time of acquisition was profitable, cash-flow positive and on strong growth trajectory.Built a successful India operation for the company in Hyderabad, India - as Prism Circuits Pvt Ltd. Prism Circuits pioneered new high speed analog/mixed signal circuitry to establish an order of magnitude level improvement in performance gains and power savings for 10Gbps+ SerDes and DDR3 semiconductor interconnect technology.Major customers included Xilinx, Fujitsu Microelectronics, Mindspeed, Entropic.

Cast Iron Systems was sold to IBM for $200M+, delivering 10x return for investors in 7 years.Founded Cast Iron Systems with two co-founders. Started company in Sequoia Capital incubation facility. Raised funding from Sequoia Capital, Norwest Ventures and others.Key accomplishments were initiating and developing a strategic partnership with Salesforce.com that established Cast Iron Systems as a major player in cloud computing and SaaS markets. The partnership was a major sales growth driver and successfully positioned the company ahead of the cloud computing curve.Cast Iron Systems invented the Application integration appliance and the Integration-as-a-Service products for use in SMB and Enterprise markets. These products enabled organizations to integrate packaged and SaaS applications, at a fraction of the cost and time, with an attractive annual subscription business model.- Acquired 5 Fortune 500 and 25 SMB early adopter customers to firmly establish new product in marketplace. - Responsible for Cast Iron sales, go-to-market strategy and business development / partner team. Acquired and developed Salesforce.com partnership that became primary growth engine for company. Additionally acquired Salesforce.com as a customer of Cast Iron Systems.- Responsible for Product Management team including Appliances product line and SaaS offerings

Phulki Inc was sold to Saavn LLC, a USA-based company to enable people around the world to easily browse, search and play the best of Bollywood and South Asian music.Phulki Inc built technology for an Indian music genre search engine with ultrafast linguistic capabilities.

Worked as Vice President and General Manager of Zaplet Inc, a Kleiner Perkins funded startup developing an innovative email-based collaborative platform. Zaplet raised more than $70M in funding during it's short history.Today, Zaplet technology and patents are used by Xobni for their popular Outlook collaboration products.Focused initially on the enterprise / corporate segment, developing new applications for collaborative work. Thereafter ran sales and marketing operations for the company.

Ran the sales, marketing, business development operations for the innovative consumer electronic software platform called Jini. Successfully acquired 40+ partners including Nokia, Motorola to support Jini technology. Jini was an offshoot from Java Mobile, Java consumer technologies.

Developed entire Java Mobile technology roadmap, partners and go-to-market plan including acquisition of small footprint Java engine (called kJava) that formed the core of J2ME technology from company called Integrity Arts. The enormously successful Java Mobile effort led to over a 2 billion unit installed base (as of 2010) consisting of J2ME specified devices in mobile, netbook, consumer devices worldwide. My team executed over 100+ licensing deals including Sony, Motorola, Nokia, Microsoft, Samsung deals.

The 1st business development executive hired for Java technology that led to the successful creation of the Java language as a defacto standard among developers for a web application platform. Hand picked by Bill Joy, founder of Sun Microsystem to lead effort. Successfully executed 25+ Java license deals including IBM, Apple, Fujitsu.
