Samir Omar is an Egyptian journalist and media figure, He joined the media filed in the early 90’s.He worked as a producer in both programs and news bulletin in the Egyptian television then in “Video Cairo Sat” company and as a TV reporter for Dubai TV Channel he also worked in Aljazeera channel in Cairo for 8 years then he became the office manager for the period of 9 months. Samir joined Sky News (AR) channel in the late 2011 afterwards he was appointed as the director in Cairo. Over about 20 years he witnessed in Egypt and the Arab region coverage of events.He produced more than 2000 TV stories and reports, plenty of political and social TV shows. He also produced more than 15 Documentary movies that were displayed in both Aljazeera and Sky News (AR) along with a lot of TV channels. He took advanced workshops in the following “TV journalism, investigating journalism, producing and directing documentaries film making during 2000 to 2008. Samir then started to work as a trainer and as training consultant in press TV programs, risky locations coverage and in production and direction documentaries film-making.
