Passionate about improving students' learning in Higher Education and creating effective educational environments.Currently in the top-management team of KIIT, Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar (nationally top-ranked; 27,000 students; one of the largest in country). Also deeply associated with running Kalinga Institute of social sciences (KiSS), a unique initiative of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, also the founder of the University, where more than 25000 tribal children are offered free education, food and stay. It's the largest such facility in the world for tribal children.Key contributions:- Created innovative Corporate & Education engagement forums through area-specific conclaves, joint curriculum development, joint-teaching, industry-mentoring, centers of excellence and large-scale student-faculty-corporate ideation processes.- Co-founded an initiative called 'Kontempore' (www.kontempore.com), a unique platform to discuss debate and share actionable insights on the talent management challenges plaguing the various industry sectors.- Steered the several large schools of the KIIT University through programme development, strategic tie-ups, placements, infrastructure development, growth and branding.
