• Reporting to President of the Waddington Group, Food Packaging Division.• Provide result-oriented product management• Initiate and oversee activities of ideation & concept development, prototype development and successful launch of new products for five sites (3 in USA and 2 in Canada) of The Waddington Group• Lead Product Management Teams of 25 members for the development of new products from concept designs to manufacturing realisation with Stage Gate approach• Develop functional requirements for products• Perform business and cost analysis for new opportunities• Meet with customers to discuss about product ideation• Liaise with key personnel in operations of the various manufacturing sites for different Packaging Product Development projects• Estimate and quote budgetary costs before the commencement of the project• Always involved in the process of evaluating New Technological advancements• Assist Senior Management in selecting new machinery and equipment• Provide support for maintenance, continuous improvement & automation projects• Deciding priorities and monitoring various product development projects• Responsible for overall costs and budget for the Product Development• Involved with vendor selection, qualification and coordination• Initiate and coordinate R&D activities
