I am the Investment and Legal Director of a multinational investment management consultancy. We operate in the MENA, European and Turkish markets.I specialise in technology, media, solar energy, real estate, healthcare and automotive sectors. My primary role is to seek investment opportunities and connect with my network of investment professionals and 22 years of experience to fund deals either through private equity, mergers or acquisitions or trade sales. My investor network is made up of high net worth individuals, hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds. My role is to seek and advise on investment opportunities for investment funds and private investors ensuring that each fund's individual objectives are always met. Having identified a need for specialist finance for early stage technology companies in the UK after the millenniums technology bubble burst, I founded a niche investment company. My vision was built on a foundation of tackling the difficulties to secure finance by taking an outside in approach to companies seeking early stage or second round funding. I focused on targeting companies with investable technologies and then grooming them for successful investment through our investment readiness programme. Looking at how companies presented themselves as investable opportunities before they pitched for investment allowed us to successfully prepare companies to withstand the scrutiny of many investor groups ranging from business angels to private equity firms from within Europe and the Middle East. I have in the last 22 years secured multi million pound investments for early stage and established technology companies with investors from Europe and the Middle East. My experience spans from companies in the USA to Europe and the Middle East. My wealth of experience in understanding the due diligence process pre and post deal coupled with my understanding of companies in many sectors and my can do approach makes me a formidable partner in any business. I trained and qualified as Corporate Counsel in the UK. I specialised in technology and corporate finance. Upon qualification I was appointed to set up the Firm's first, E-commerce, IT and IP Team.The team advised a number of high profile technology clients nationally and internationally.
