Supply Chain Analytics - City Logistics (Last Mile & First Mile) & Externalization chartersPickup Hub Consolidation using LPP: A change in the supply chain design led to areduction of space requirement in hubs. Problem was to select the PHs which needed tobe shut down. Solved the optimization problem using a LPP implemented on Pythonusing PuLP library. ▪ Density Based Clustering (DBC) using DBSCAN and constrained-K-Means: Segmentinglast mile hub serviceable area into clusters to enable automated sortation at hubs anddifferential effort-based rate cards for delivery executives. Segmented serviceable area ofeach hub into pixels (smaller squares) to reduce compute, identified dense clusters withradius and minimum shipments as input. Remaining pixels were segmented usingconstrained-k-means to create clusters with required load. [Patent Filed]▪ Reach expansion of Flipkart logistics: Defined a rule-based framework to select pincodesto claw back from 3PL partners based on demand, location, variability. Also worked on a hierarchical clustering method toclub low volume pincodes.▪ Address Quality Scoring: Created a scoring framework for address quality to quantifyproblematic addresses which are difficult to deliver▪ Simulation of No Rush Model: Simulation of a scenario where some customers are ok adegraded speed. Those set of shipments were to be used for lowering peaks in the supplychain which would lead to improvement in capacity utilization.
