I am currently teaching in year 2 working closely with children who have SEND liaising with the SENCO and CAMHS specialists looking at ways to tailor their learning in order for them to reach their highest potentialIn addition, I have the responsibility of R.E lead, organising events for the schools and connecting Links with the multi-faith community.

• Self-arranged school placement.• 1-week placement in international school working closely with EAL children shadowing and observing the 2nd grade (year 3) class teacher.• All children in the class had English as an Additional Language (EAL), as the school is home to over 50 different nationalities however all children in my class spoke English to an impeccable standard• Gained skills on how to approach effective learning for children who are EAL, and teaching strategies to aid their learning.• Educated on the curriculum and planning taught in International schools in Istanbul.• Attended staff meetings and school assemblies.

• Shadowed doctors carrying out blood tests and Neuro-psych tests for Alzheimer’s drugs clinical trials.• Carried out a Neuro-psych test on a patient myself by following a set scheme of questions, understanding what to look for in regard to whether their dementia had improved or not.• Interacting with patients and assisting with admin.
