A follower of the FIRE movement, Samira advocates for financial literacy and working towards a debt free lifestyle. She counsels her clients to distinguish between 'good debt' and 'bad debt', while also emphasizing the benefits of securing positive cash flow for long term investment. During Hurricane Florence, Samira established the Sea Coast Sanctuary for orphaned and unwanted animals. She also volunteered her PR skills to assist the Pender County Humane Society, breaking their prior fundraising records. Samira simultaneously launched the Blue Clay facility, working to coordinate area resources alongside others, ultimately assisting in backing up all inland counties for dog food, cat food, horse food and bird food. In an effort to assist abandoned and discarded furry friends, she wrote the "Animals in Need of Adoption" column, for the Port City Daily. Prior to moving to NC, Samira ran a public relations consulting company, that specialized in generating earned media. Her clients included the homeless of Sarasota, who she obtained coverage for in The Sarasota Herald Tribune and The Washington Post, as well as other media outlets.
