Site Engineer
CurrentExperienced Site and Project Engineer specializing in tunnel and telecommunication infrastructure projects, notably the 3B WestConnex Rozelle Interchange Tunnel and the 3A WestConnex M4-M8 Link Tunnel.Radio Re-Broadcast System Implementation:- Commissioning Engineer for the end-to-end radio system deployment in motorway tunnels, covering AM/FM/DAB/Operations & Maintenance and Emergency Services Radio. - Conducted testing, commissioning, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT), while ensuring adherence to design specifications.- Assisted in creating construction drawings. e.g. For-Construction, Work-In-Progress, and As-Built drawings.- Identified and rectified technical faults.In-Building Mobile DAS Systems (TPG and Optus Projects):- Assist project manager in monthly project targets and on project delivery.- Correspond with designers for project drawings and link budgets.- Liase with SAE Manager for site acquisition and licensing agreements.- Coordinate with technicians, such as their schedules, permits, inductions, SWMS, project drawings.- Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse team for material delivery to site.- Review As-Built photos and documents provided by technicians to verify if the works were carried out as per design.- Gather project status information from the field teams, form project status reports and escalate obstacles to management to find the relevant solutions.- Maintain project status tracker and share progress with stakeholders.- Perform KPI performance Walk tests on sites.- Prepare handover packs for client submission.Additional Expertise:- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on radio rebroadcast systems, e.g. for NorthConnex motorway tunnel.- Develop in-house software (C#) for UHF channelized repeater configuration.- Provide ongoing technical consultations and follow-ups to Project Managers.- Standardize research, documentation, and presentation processes within the Engineering Team.
