Upper Nile, South Sudan

I was charged with overseeing transition of projects from emergency supported phases to rehabilitation and eventually development contexts. This involved working with local organizations and government structures to build capacity to handle emergencies and to avert some of the emergencies that were predictable. ~Managed and supervised 17 WASH staff in relation to WASH projects in both emergency and rehabilitation contexts.~Spearheaded the formation of 6 community-based organization which served as a platform for project rollout and implementation.~Designed and supervised the construction 4 earth dams enabling more than 100,000 people access water close to their dwellings.~Monitored program interventions and documented success stories coupled with learning measures which influenced ongoing program design and implementation.

Juba, South Sudan

Coached and led a 7-member team providing emergency response services across South Sudan.
