I take pride in the fact that I stayed true to the industry I have spent last 15 years in - Shaving and Personal grooming awith a very clear vision about my and the organization’s core consumer - thousands of barbers and salons across Africa, and what we need to do add value to their trade and their life.Having spent more than decade and a half accruing cross-functional experience in marketing and sales for consumer goods categories across Asia & Africa, I have gained a profound understanding and exposure to key emerging markets in the Middle East, South Asia, Africa and Indian Sub-continent. The formative 10 years were spent in large multinational organizations with leading brands like Pepsi and Energizer and the last five years in a vibrant, mid-sized organization with a resilient challenger brand. My expertise is exceptional, ranging from category leaders to challenger brands; marketing to revenue generation, across multiple markets with a mix of traditional & modern trade environments.I have an interest in following and associating with growing brands and mid-size organizations operating in emerging markets that thrive on entrepreneurial DNA and a hunger for building sustained long-term business.Personal Fitness & healthy eating are an integral part of my routine and help me keep sane when things go crazy.
