I started Esteam Apparel Services Pvt Ltd to address the limited number of high end quality manufactures in India to service the International market. Accomplishments include:1998-2000 – I successfully turned around a sick Industrial Women’s Co-Operative facility at Ichalkaranji into an export-oriented garment manufacturing facility, exporting Workwear to the UK.2000-2007 – Commissioned a New Manufacturing in Ichalkaranji as the License period of the Women Co-operative was complete. Erected a brand-new (60 machine 10k sq/ft) facility was started with imported machines from Japan. 2007-present – I commissioned my 5th facility at Miraj. A state-of-the-art and eco-friendly facility of 300 machines in 50,000 sq/ft facility. Miraj was given a new destination for apparel production as a result of my work there.2007-present – I have personally trained and coached unskilled, semi skilled and skilled workers to manufacture apparel to International standards.2007-present – I received an accreditation and approval from Marks and Spencers Plc UK for the manufacture of Apparel and Accessories. 2007-present – I guided Esteam to achieve the Fairtrade accreditation as well as the Global Organic Textile Standards Certification (GOTS) - one of the first few companies in India to get this. 2007-present – Esteam received the following certifications and continues to hold them for the last 13 years. SA 8000: 2018; ISO 9000: 2008; ISO 14000: 2009; OHSAS 18000.2012 – I was jointly involved with a French customer in innovating the world’s first Isothermal Cooler Bag made from 99% biodegradable materials.Some of our notable customers included Marks & Spencer’s Plc, NEXT Plc, Accessorize Plc, TESCO, Picard, E. Leclerc, Dickies, and London Linen (part of the Johnsons Apparel Group).

I co-founded Sexy Beast in 2020 drawing on the experience of working with world class apparel brands (Petit Bateau, Accessorize, Marks & Spencers, Next Plc in Europe and Prana, Columbia Sportswear in the USA. I head the Partnerships, Product Development and Sourcing, New Business and Finance. Notable achievements include:2020-present - Conceptualised and created a brand identity for the DTC market in India.2020-present - Drawing on the over 30 years of supply chain management, sourcing and logistics, I have helped the company establish partnerships that have enabled the business to meet current trends and demand.2020-present - Instrumental in creating a solid board level team to help with the strategic direction of Sexy Beast.

I was approached to set up a manufacturing facility for textile packaging solutions for the automotive industry in Europe. Some of my notable achievements include:2003-2008 – I commissioned my 3rd manufacturing facility in the Kandla Special Economic Zone, Gujarat as a joint venture with Tarameen Ltd by the name of (G.V. Textile Manufacturing Pvt Ltd). This was later renamed to M J Systems Material Handling Pvt Ltd. This facility specialised of textile dunnage as a packaging solution for the Automotive Industry.2004-2008 – I commissioned an additional 4th manufacturing facility (2nd within G.V. Textile Manufacturing Pvt Ltd). This was renamed as M J Systems Material Handling Pvt Ltd. This facility was commissioned as the market demand increased and adjacent to the current facility thus increasing the capacity by over 100%.2008-present – I facilitated and led the merger of G.V.Textile Manufacturing Pvt Ltd and M J Systems UK Ltd to form M J Systems Material Handling Pvt. Ltd (now subsidiary of MJSolpac Ltd) I was appointed the Managing Director of this new entity.
