Ophthalmology• Develop and foster collaborative relationships between Thought Leaders via the advancement of medicine as an informational conduit between the Thought Leader and the company.• Provide fair balanced scientific exchange, medical information, and discuss disease state and all related therapeutics • Analyzing data from various publications and conferences, to better formulate and achieve strategic objectives with respect to Dry Eye Disease, wet & dry AMD, DME, Glaucoma, RVO, and Uveitis.• Distinguishing products from competitors to address potential market loss by demonstrating superior, data-driven product quality findings.• Attend medical conferences in order to understand the current and future state of medicine, review of current literature for current and pipeline products and competitive products.• Phase II/III/IV study site identification and support and Investigator Initiated Trials internal steward.

Medical Affairs/Medical Communications• Establish relationships and holding meaningful peer to peer clinical discussions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in collaboration with the field team on rare disease education and the best use of our client's products to most effectively reach positive patient outcomes. These discussions are within a specific FDA approved guideline.• Promote pharmaceutical products including new product launch and mature product support pertaining to up-to-date medical information and the promotion of disease management and treatment.• Collect and report adverse event data while consulting Healthcare Providers (HCPs) related to safety and monitoring of treatment options.• Novartis Pharmaceuticals: Neurology, Oncology, Urology – Southeast Territory - Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, Pituitary Cushing’s Disease, and ALK+ non small cell lung cancer.• Detailing for Novartis medications: Afinitor (everolimus), Signifor (pasireotide), and Zykadia (LDK378/certinib).

Pain Research Laboratory, Basic Science Research Fellow/Assistant• Developed a retrospective research case study, "Prevalence and Characteristics of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy in Community Hospital Based Clinic," by utilizing the electronic medical records database to categorize patient’s reported duration and control of diabetes with the development of peripheral neuropathy and depending on the statistics, look for genetic linkage by creating genetic profiles.• Assisted on writing and drafting abstract articles and poster presentations and on multiple translational research projects involving behavioral, histological, and electrophysiological studies using various laboratory techniques such as microsurgery on rodents and histological tissue slide preparations.

Translational and Molecular Imaging Institute, Clinical Research Coordinator• Assisted the Principle Investigator with the conduct of a clinical study, including preparing IRB/GCO submissions, regulatory filing, data collections, laboratory procedures, and reporting of Adverse Events.• Obtained informed consent for studies enrolling vulnerable subjects, and for studies involving genetic tests under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, Clinical Research Manager, or Senior Clinical Research Coordinator.
