• Advised and assisted international and local clients (companies, government departments, and individuals) in Iraq (North and South) with company registration, tax implications, civil lawsuits, compliance and regulatory issues including FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) and UKBA (UK Bribery Act).• Managed a team of two International Legal Associates with NFBC, along with an extended team working in Erbil, Baghdad and Basra. Responsibilties included managing the office for long periods of time while the directors were abroad and paying salaries to the staff.• Instrumental in setting up New Frontiers International Immigration department to assist with some of the world’s largest Oil and Gas companies and service companies with their visa and residency requirements.
