I am a Kalajoki, Finland native with a strong spark for international and domestic security issues.I am a Master of Arts of Oulu University (2013) Faculty of Humanities, majoring in Finnish and Scandinavian History. Minor subjects included political science, sociology and pedagogics.My most proficient skills lie in teaching and training and I am a confident public speaker in both Finnish and English. In the educational field, I am accustomed to educating teenagers and coaching adults. In my current position as a project manager, I also double as a Scrum master and facilitate sprint retrospectives as a tool for individual-, team- and company-wide improvement. I also enjoy planning and executing various types of projects, courses or events in my free time. I mostly enjoy teamwork, but also have good abilities to work independently. My skills in creating written text, be it for a scientific report or an opinion piece, have been greatly improved during the past five years and I am a confident writer. In a leadership position I expect strong commitment from my crew and appreciate feedback and independent work.Over the years I have gained working experience from non-profit organizations, music, public schools, public healthcare, furniture industry, eCommerce and ERP software and military reserve.
