I am a commited social worker and aspecial educator serving for over more than 25 years towards the well-being of the society. The founder member of Sangbedan, a Social Welfare Organisation at Shyambazar,Kolkata.Sangbedan is engaged with social services like providing free education and training inperforming arts for the disabled children,ensuring free monthly ration, doctors’ check-up andmedicines.The organization is dedicated towards organizing blood donation camps, cleanlinessdrives, tree plantation programmes in and around the city,holistically contributing towards thesustainability, empowerment and mental health.I was invited as a chief guest of honour and as a resource person (MentalHealth Advocate) at various educational institutions for workshops and capacity-buildingprogrammes. I am the first in Kolkata to organize a fashion show and talking puppet showwith the disabled children.
