To supervise the transportation of the cargo destined to Afghanistan via Pakistan route, via NDN route and by Air.To provide the highest level of strategic and operational support to Damco’s customers for Afghanistan which includes setting out pricing strategies and overall operational cost controlCost and time efficient operations (Constantly reducing the cost and improving efficiency).Product Development (To promote our Afghanistan product among new customers and bring new business wherever possible).Customer Relations (Being available at all times to the customer 24/7 and ensuring proper follow up with the service providers).Pricing and Procurement.Customer Service (Booking collection from the customers, documents arrangement, booking placement with the service providers, EDI & ITV reporting. Streamlining the service providers & Damco branch offices for proper reporting procedures).Process Improvement (Updating of IOP’s/SOP’s subject to the changes in the procedures/laws considering cost and time efficiency). Strategy & Planning (To advise and suggest best/alternative solutions and contingencies in case of unexpected situations. Customized solutions to the customers according to their needs)To advise the team of the requirements of a shipment and doing proper follow up in order to provide the best possible services according to the customer needs.Maintaining the local database for customers and shipments.Cost check and to ensure timely billing.Customer and Damco offices (local/international) visits.To keep in touch with customs, unions, NLC, USCG etc and to attend meetings with such authorities.Build the vendor base and strategically develop vendors to procure best rates and servicesTo keep Damco ethics and values in consideration while taking any step.Interaction with customers (including Damco international offices) and service providers (suppliers etc)

To coordinate with principal for rates filing and update the system according to rates approval by Principal.Get haulage information from MIRA and update the system.Dealing in Export Rate Query.To update Booking and send Release order/acceptance to customers.Liaise with Client in the absence of sales person.To coordinate with Documents department for Pricing and vessel call closure.To follow nomination shipments. To send export payment invoices to customers.Get DG approval from Principal and same update in the system.

Handling all Import related documentation.Communication, correspondence with all worldwide agents Via Phone, Fax & Email.Handling all imports manifest related documentation & File with customs thru EPAS, PACCS online System as well as local system IBOX independently Have Good command/Knowledge about PaCCS (Local custom online software)Audit and finalize IGM (Import General Manifest) and upload in online system (PaCCS).Check and approved the EMC (Electronic Manifest Correctors) in iBOX system.Update Freight/Other corrector in IBOX (Local system).Run Auto Entry / Final Confirmation in IBOX (Afsys) for each import vessel and check/audit all payments updated index wise for each import vessel. Solve all import related problems of customers.Coordinate/interact with all Terminals/Stevedores for smooth delivery of import cargo to facilitate the customer.Send destuffing & shifting request of containers to terminals/yards.

Handling all Import related documentation for (03 lines EP CARRIERS, EMIRATES LINE & MARUBA LINE).Communication, correspondence with all worldwide agents Via Phone, Fax & Email.Handling all imports manifest related documentation & File with customs thru EPAS, PACCS System independently Create, Amend, Confirm the VIR (Vessel Intimation Report) in PaCCS for Import Vessel.Audit all IGM prior to upload in PACCS or to send manually (thru EPAS.)Update all/any amendments in PACCS/EPAS and updates the same in local software prior finalize the IGM.Prepare all documents for filing IGM and coordinate with freight forwarders to collecting house bill of ladings for manifestation purpose.File Transshipment containers in PaCCSPrepares Import vessel guarantee documents file.Solve all import related problems of customers in view of their satisfactions and standards.Coordinate with all Terminals and Stevedores for smooth Destuffing of imports containers Send destuffing & shifting request of containers to terminals/yards.Send arrival notice to co loaders for arriving their SOC containers.

Dealing with customers with a view of solving their general problems.Generating invoices and issuing Delivery orders in absence of counter staff.Handling of all imports Customer with information of their shipment tracking and updation.Maintaining a record / database of current & potential customers.To maintain the record of all shipments imported during a month.Ensuring all shipment / regulatory documents are available prior to the issuance of D/OTo build up good relations with customers.IGM preparation for (Containerized & Break Bulk Vessel) & Filing IGM with custom thru EPAS & PACCSSend arrival notices, destuffing request to terminals/yards.Keeping update of documentation and relevant correspondenceEstablishing a good co-ordination between different departments i.e. accounts, Customer Service & B/L. Update Container inventory in local software Handle correspondence with terminal and Agents regarding container stocks
