Dulles International Airport

 Act as on-duty manager of the airport. Manage daily operations for Airside, Landside, and the Terminals.  Represent executive management when responding to security incidents and emergencies as part of unified incident command under the Airport Emergency Plan and Airport Security Plan. Operational oversight of airport construction to ensure compliance with 49 CFR Part 1542, 14 CFR Part 139, and FAR Part 77. Act as the liaison between airport administration and all local, state, and federal agencies. Enforce and initiate corrective action on airport safety, security, and environmental requirements. Provide oversight and direction to Airport Maintenance, Airport Communications Center, Airport Operations Specialist personnel, and first responders. Extensive knowledge of airport construction and facility management.  Oversee the implementation of the airline gate management system. Lead trainer for the operations department personnel.  Working knowledge of FAA grants and grant assurances. Local 501 Union Shop Steward for the Burbank Glendale Pasadena Airport Authority.

 Oversee the self-park, valet, and shuttle operation contract.  Duty Manager for Landside operations and ground transportation. Operations project manager for the Regional Intermodal Transportation Center (RITC), Elevated Walkway, North Tower, and the Replace Parking Structure (RPS) construction projects (total cost $118m).  Update all landside roadway wayfinding signs following city codes.  Act as the liaison between stakeholders and the Airport Authority. Inspect two terminal buildings, ground transportation hub, rental car facility, and all remote parking lots. Manage two successful parking contractor transitions and oversee parking and valet daily operations.

 Act as Airport Manager on duty for both Oxnard and Camarillo Airport.

 Directed a portfolio of thirty-five self-park and valet parking locations in Los Angeles County. Successfully automated fifteen self-park facilities and minimized operational costs.  Approve annual O&M budget for locations. Director of the employee training program for locations.
