Airport Operations Duty Manager, Supervisory
Current Manage the Airport Operations Command Center, Airport Operations Duty Managers, Assistant Airport Duty Managers, Airport Operations Specialists, and related security personnel. Perform administrative duties for the Airport Operations Department. Act as a liaison between the TSA, CBP, FAA, airlines, tenants, and other stakeholders. Present projects include updating the Airport Emergency Plan (AEP), coordinating with stakeholders to build out an agenda for conducting multiple emergency tabletop exercises, acquiring an aircraft gate management system for 113 gates, modernizing the snow/ice control plan, and streamlining the VIP/Dignitary movement program. Perform as the Incident Commander in an emergency and coordinate personnel efforts. Initiate and direct the appropriate Airport Contingency Plan(s) during airport emergencies. Manage the FAA part 139 self-insection program and record keeping. Develop and implement approved Airport security, certification, and safety programs per Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations, and Airports Authority guidelines. Recommend and administer modifications for plans, manuals, regulations, and other operating procedures. Member of the Airport Authority’s Vehicle Accident Review Board (VARB). Maintain constant awareness of changing conditions, activities, and requirements affecting Airport operations. Oversee the VIP and dignitary movement program for the airport. Monitor the AeroTrain, Plane Mate, and Mobile Lounge divisions and make necessary operational adjustments.
