I am responsible for all customers/enquiries throughout the entire south of the state and up the east and west coast to level with Launceston. I also handle all service enquiries as well as carry out the service work where required. I work on and supply technical support advice and spare parts and complete assemblies of all kinds of pumps from mining submersibles to centrifugal pumps and irrigation pumps. I also do quite a large amount of work on domestic household water pumps as well as larger pumps for the farming and agricultural industry. I am also required to work on hydraulic and pneumatics equipment as well as pipework and all other types of rotating machinery. I am also actively required to use my welding skills. I also organize all of the day to day running of the company for the south of the state, from banking to invoicing clients and paying our accounts. I have gained extensive experience with MYOB and SAP as well as expanding on my knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs. I have also been lucky to have led several major projects at several different sites within the state, looking after both the project or installation as well as all of the associated customers, suppliers and tradespeople. I get great satisfaction from leading projects and being responsible for the overseeing of the entire job. Within this role I operated as a mechanical tradesperson both in the purpose built workshop and in the field on-site wherever the work needed to be completed. I had my own vehicle which was stocked with all the necessary tools and equipment for me to complete any job no matter how big or small. I worked on and repaired everything from cylinders to earth moving equipment. I was still utilized in the system design and supply work but also took the next step and did all of the manufacturing work as well as on site installations. I was also required to travel statewide as well as several places around Australia for jobs and projects as well as meetings and training. I was regretful to leave such a good company but I relocated back to Hobart to be closer to friends and family. I gained some invaluable experience whilst at Bamfords in sales, maintenance and customer service, dealing with people from the everyday customer to consultants, engineers and managers of all levels.

Another part of the job was to assist with the Enzed side of the business. Within this I was required to repair and manufacture all types of hydraulic hoses and piping as well as pneumatic piping. By completing these tasks and working within Enzed I have become very proficient and have gained a great understanding and amount of knowledge on hose manufacture and all the fittings and adaptors used in the hydraulic industry. This position allowed me to further expand upon my mechanical knowledge and aptitude allowing me to become an even better tradesperson and a more valuable asset to the company. I was offered an advancement within the company to the position of Service Tradesperson/Sales Support.
